Six new ribs are installed in a Chestnut Prospector. Another Chestnut Prospector has four new ribs installed. The second group of new ribs for a Huron canoe are bent over the hull and waiting to be installed. The finishing touches are being done on two Chestnut Pals before I head off on a three week book tour. I'm looking forward to presenting a book talk and signing copies of This Fancy Old Canoe in Peterborough, Ontario, Spooner, Wisconsin, and the WCHA Assembly in Paul Smith's, New York.
